Grounded in a strong scientific foundation with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Human Anatomy, she earned her Medical Degree (MBBS) and went on to achieve postgraduate designations in both the United Kingdom (MRCGP) and Canada (CCFP).

Dr. Tari Amba-Ambaiowei is a dedicated, compassionate and internationally trained Family Medicine Physician with advanced training in public health and tropical medicine, bringing a broad global health perspective to clinical practice. Licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), He is experienced in delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care across diverse healthcare settings, with a strong commitment to preventative medicine, community health, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

His clinical interests include Acute and Urgent Care Medicine, Maternal and Perinatal Health, Preventive and Population Health, Evidence-based Primary Care, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Health Equity and Underserved Populations. He is passionate about improving healthcare access, supporting vulnerable communities and integrating public health principles into frontline clinical practice. With a strong academic foundation - spanning an MBBS, MSc in Public Health (UoL), Diploma in Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and dual Family Physician Certifications (MRCGP, CCFP)— Dr. Amba-Ambaiowei integrates multidisciplinary expertise in delivering high‐quality, culturally informed medical care.
